We are here to do the works that Jesus Christ did, and show the love of Christ to every soul who enters in. Are we perfect? No. But we strive to treat others as Jesus would. If you don't have a church home, please visit with us. If you want a break from your church, we have services on Thursday night. We also have a Karaoke singing once a month on Saturday night, usually the first Saturday. Our Pastor, Louis Pender is a servant of God, who loves people. It is senseless to pay tuition to educate a rebel who has no heart for truth.
- Prayer Request for Sister Priscilla Smith. She is in the hospital with fluid in her lungs. Please lift her up, and Brother Smith as well.
- To the best of my knowledge right now, Rachel will be discharged from the hospital today. However, Ronda sent me text messages that tell me she's pulling out all the stops this morning to try to stay. Everything hurts this morning.
- Sister Glenda Tyler is recovering from the stroke she had. Sister Jayne says that she is doing very well now.
- Update on Rachel Stowe
Rachel has a new doctor today, who is not wanting to jump right in and discharge her. She is still a little concerned that she has not been walked without the oxygen, and that she is still on IV antibiotics, and that her lungs still sound junky. She will get better acquainted with the patient today, and be more prepared tomorrow to possibly discharge her. Rachel is happy she has another night in the hospital.
- Sister Mary, Hazel and Ruby's mother passed away. Sister Pender called this morning with the news. No arrangement information is available right now except that she will be at Cotten Funeral Home in New Bern. As arrangements become available they will be posted. Please remember the family in your prayers.
- If you have had changes to your phone number or address and wish to include them in the church directory, please notify Vickie Stowe of these changes. This is for members, and attending non-members as well.
- We are going to be opening the website postings to everyone. If anyone prefers not to be included in the photos and videos, please let Pastor Pender, Sister Gibbs, or Brother or Sister Smith know so that those photos or videos can be pulled down that they are in. Thanks for your cooperation.
